Journey to the perfect circle comes from my own
personal art journey at Newcastle Art School. It is a
series of colours relative to the classes I have attended.
Each of the colours represents a lesson learnt or a work
I have created. The circle is something that I personally
have struggled with and one thing that has stuck in my
journey is repetition, repetition, repetition so with 108
days, 108 colours and 108 circles the journey
continues.

Bushfoot - 2023 18cm x 17cm

Bush Foot was a piece created inspired by sustainability. It is a collection of left over paint from my pallets, cut into strips and woven into mesh. Whilst creating this piece I was intrigued that this left over paint having a second chance and thinking of the impact it would have had on the environment if washed into water ways. This piece represents my curiosity of experimentation of mediums, it limitations and impacts on the environment.
